# Keyboard Shortcuts

> Quick reference for all keyboard shortcuts in Tivra Player

# Keyboard Shortcuts

Shortcuts are active when your cursor is not inside a text input field. When **Keyboard MIDI Mode** is enabled, all single-key shortcuts are disabled and keys are mapped to MIDI notes instead.

## Transport

| Key     | Action       |
| ------- | ------------ |
| `Space` | Play / Pause |

## Panel Toggles

| Key | Action                                                |
| --- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| `M` | Show / hide the **Mixer** panel                       |
| `C` | Close the active **MIDI Editor** or **Sample Editor** |
| `R` | Show / hide **Sends & Returns** in the mixer          |
| `I` | Show / hide **Input** strips in the mixer             |
| `P` | Toggle the **right panel** (Chat / AI)                |

## Editing

| Key     | Action |
| ------- | ------ |
| `⌘ Z`   | Undo   |
| `⌘ ⇧ Z` | Redo   |

## Zoom

| Key   | Action             |
| ----- | ------------------ |
| `⌘ +` | Zoom in            |
| `⌘ -` | Zoom out           |
| `⌘ 0` | Reset zoom to 100% |

## Audio Clips

| Action          | How                               |
| --------------- | --------------------------------- |
| **Move clip**   | Click and drag the clip body      |
| **Trim left**   | Drag the left edge of the clip    |
| **Trim right**  | Drag the right edge of the clip   |
| **Open editor** | Click the clip (without dragging) |

## MIDI Keyboard Mode

When enabled via the keyboard icon in the transport bar, letter keys become
a piano keyboard:
